PMMIC offers insurance coverage for regulated petroleum underground storage tanks (UST) and aboveground storage tanks (AST). We provide financial responsibility coverage that satisfies state and federal requirements. We offer coverage for cleanup and third party liability. Limits range from $500,000 to $1 million per occurrence with an aggregate limit of $1 million. We offer $5,000 and $10,000 deductibles. Although we will offer coverage for tanks of any age, we provide premium discounts for better systems.
Discounts are available for double walled systems, dispensers with intact containment, sumps with intact containment, 15 gallon or larger spill buckets, electronic line leak detectors, and proactive leak detection systems. We focus on stopping leaks before they occur. We utilize an on-site inspection process to evaluate each insured UST system. We work with our members to ensure that every UST system is in compliance with federal technical requirements. Compliance with the federal technical requirements will minimize leaks from your UST system.
